Rajouri:In a heartfelt initiative to strengthen the bond, fostering a secure environment and developing a deeper sense of belongingness between the Indian Army and the Ex-Servicemen (ESM) community, a meeting was held today with the veterans of Lower and Upper Dehri Raylote villages. A total of 32 ESM with their families were met at their homes.
The event, organized by the Indian Army, witnessed active participation from several ESMs, demonstrating the mutual respect and commitment between the Indian Army and those who have served the nation. During the gathering, the Indian Army showcased its unwavering support for the ESM community, emphasizing the importance of their invaluable contributions to the area’s security. The event also highlighted the Indian Army’s continuous efforts to address the welfare needs of veterans. As a part of the initiative, the ESMs were provided with on-site medical facilities, ensuring that their health and well-being are given priority.
A dedicated grievance redressal session was also conducted, where the veterans were able to voice their concerns, which were noted for further follow-up and redressal by Zila Sainik Board and other offices. This meeting stands as a testament to the deep and enduring relationship between the Indian Army and the Ex-Servicemen, reaffirming the Indian Army’s commitment to the welfare of its veterans and the strong support system they provide to those who have dedicated their lives to the nation.
