Apple Issues Urgent iOS 18.6.2 Update Over Major iPhone Security Risk
Apple has rolled out an urgent iOS 18.6.2 update for iPhone users, warning of critical security vulnerabilities that could put devices at risk. The company has advised all eligible users to install the update immediately.
According to Apple, the patch addresses a serious flaw linked to malicious image files that can corrupt memory and potentially allow hackers to exploit devices. Reports suggest that the vulnerability has already been targeted in “highly sophisticated attacks” against specific users.
iOS 18.6.2: Who Needs to Update?
The update is available for all iPhones from the iPhone Xs to the iPhone 16 Pro Max. If you own one of these devices, Apple strongly recommends installing the update without delay to safeguard against possible hacking attempts.
