DODA: Government ITI Doda today celebrated “Skill Demo Day” with a vibrant “Skill Exhibition” showcasing the practical work and projects of trainees across various trades, highlighting the significance of skill development programs.
The event was graced by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Ashraf Parvez as the Chief Guest, with Assistant Director Employment Rafiq Ahmed Jaral serving as the Guest of Honour. The program was organized under the guidance of the Administrative Department and the Skill Development Department, as part of Seva Pakhwada initiatives.
Superintendent of the Institute, Er. Naresh Singh, welcomed the dignitaries and guided them through the exhibition stalls, where trainees displayed the products and projects they created during their practical training.
Following the exhibition, the Superintendent delivered a PowerPoint presentation detailing the various Skill Training Schemes offered by ITI Doda. These included one- and two-year trade courses as well as short-term skill programs under schemes such as PMKVY, PM Vishwakarma Surya Ghar, and SANKALP.
In his address, the Chief Guest lauded the institute for its commitment to providing quality vocational training to youth, emphasizing the strong focus on practical, hands-on learning across all trades.
