Jammu: Due to adverse weather conditions, the Directorate of School Education Jammu has announced the closure of all government and private schools across the Jammu Division tomorrow, August 18.
In an official order, the Director of School Education Jammu stated, “All government as well as private schools in Jammu Division shall remain closed on 18.08.2025.”
The decision has been taken to ensure the safety of students amid heavy rainfall and warnings of worsening weather.
This announcement comes in the wake of consecutive cloudbursts and flash floods in the region, which have claimed over 60 lives, injured hundreds, and left more than 80 people missing.
