JAMMU: A police personnel was injured in Jammu on Monday after his rifle accidentally went off while he was cleaning it, officials said.
Head Constable Sanjeev Kumar sustained injuries when his service weapon discharged during maintenance at Gulshan Ground, they added.
He was immediately taken to the Government Medical College Hospital in Jammu for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition.
