POONCH: A solemn and dignified program was held today in Poonch to mark the 4th death anniversary of the esteemed spiritual luminary, Hazrat Mian Bashir Ahmed Larvi (RA).
Organized by Halla Bollé, the event drew a large gathering of scholars, community leaders, and admirers of the late spiritual leader. Javed Ahmed Rana, Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment, and Tribal Affairs, attended as the chief guest and paid heartfelt tributes to Mian Bashir Larvi.
In his address, the Minister lauded Mian Sahib as a towering spiritual figure and a steadfast champion of humanity, compassion, and social justice.
“Mian Bashir Sahib was not just a religious leader, but a beacon of hope for the oppressed and a tireless advocate for dignity and equality,” Rana said. “His life exemplified selfless service, and his legacy continues to inspire generations to walk the path of righteousness, compassion, and unity.”
He underscored the continuing relevance of Mian Bashir’s teachings, urging society to draw strength from his values.
“In times of division and uncertainty, his vision of inclusive harmony and empowerment remains more important than ever,” he added.
The gathering was also attended by Administrator Zia Ul Uloom, Maulana Syed A. Habib, historian and columnist K.D. Maini, advocates Mahroof Khan, Zaman Mir, Nazir Choudhary, and Taj Mir, Dr. Zamurrad Mughal, Editor of Halla Bollé, Ch. Muhammad Asad Noomani, Chairman of Sarimastaan Foundation, Dr. Anwar Khan, Haroon Rathore, Sardar Surjan Singh, Mohammad Sayeed, and others.
Participants reflected on Mian Bashir Ahmed Larvi’s enduring contributions to spiritual life, community upliftment, and social harmony. The assembly collectively resolved to uphold and propagate the values of peace, service, and justice that defined his life.
