Jammu: The Jammu Development Authority (JDA) continued its anti-encroachment campaign today by conducting a demolition drive at Khasra No. 504 in Kore Jagir, Nagrota. During the operation, three illegal structures and two plinths were demolished, leading to the retrieval of nearly 50 kanals of prime JDA land.
To safeguard the reclaimed property, a signboard marking JDA ownership has been installed at the site to deter future encroachments.
The drive was carried out under the directions of Vice Chairman JDA, Rupesh Kumar, as part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to clear unauthorized constructions and recover encroached land across the Jammu region. JDA has also intensified action against under-construction illegal structures to ensure strict adherence to land use and building regulations.
