Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat on Thursday issued the provisional calendar for the fourth session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.
According to the schedule, a copy of which is in possession of the Secretariat, the session will commence on Thursday, October 23, with obituary references. The next two days, October 24 and 25, have been designated as off days, with October 24 coinciding with the Rajya Sabha elections. October 26 will be observed as a holiday.
The Assembly will resume with Government Business on October 27 and 30, while Private Members’ Bills will be taken up on October 28 and Private Members’ Resolutions on October 29. If required, Government Business may also continue on October 31.
