CEO Amitava Chatterjee Hands Over ₹4.10 Crore Cheque to CM Omar Abdullah
SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Bank today donated ₹4.10 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to aid ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts for those affected by the recent floods in the region.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of J&K Bank, Amitava Chatterjee, along with members of the Board of Directors, presented the cheque to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at the Civil Secretariat here.
Appreciating the generous contribution, the Chief Minister thanked the bank’s management and employees. He noted that such support from institutions demonstrates a collective commitment to stand by the people during times of crisis and will play a vital role in alleviating the hardships faced by flood-affected families.


Commending the dedication of J&K Bank’s staff, the Chief Minister added that the bank has consistently been at the forefront of community support in challenging times, and this gesture once again reflects its strong sense of responsibility towards the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
