New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday spoke with Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha following a devastating cloudburst in Kishtwar district.
The incident, which occurred on Thursday, triggered a massive flash flood in a remote mountain village, leaving at least 60 people dead and over 100 injured.
According to officials, Modi discussed the situation with Abdullah and Sinha, reviewed the ongoing relief efforts, and assured them of full central assistance.
