Jammu, Nov 26: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday urged the youth of Jammu & Kashmir to take a stand against radicalisation and extremism. Addressing a gathering of young leaders and students, he emphasized the importance of awareness, education, and community engagement in countering extremist ideologies.
The LG highlighted that the youth are the driving force of the region’s progress and urged them to actively participate in initiatives promoting peace, harmony, and social cohesion. He also called upon them to use modern tools, digital platforms, and cultural activities to create awareness against radicalisation.
Officials accompanying the LG stressed the role of collaborative efforts between educational institutions, civil society, and law enforcement in ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for the younger generation.
