Jammu, 20 December 2025: Anti-terror operations have been intensified along the International Border (IB) in Jammu following intelligence inputs indicating a possible infiltration attempt from across the border.
Security forces, including the Army, BSF and Jammu and Kashmir Police, have stepped up surveillance and launched coordinated search and area domination operations in vulnerable border areas. Additional checkpoints have been established, and night patrols have been strengthened to thwart any infiltration bid.
Officials said the heightened alert was based on specific intelligence inputs suggesting movement across the border. Security agencies are maintaining close coordination to ensure a swift response to any suspicious activity.
Meanwhile, residents in border villages have been advised to remain vigilant and immediately report any unusual movement to the nearest security post. Authorities have reiterated that all necessary measures are in place to maintain peace and security in the region.
