RAJOURI: Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) organised a spectacular Folk Music, Dance and Poetic Show at Harsh Niketan Hr Secondary school in Sunderbani, Rajouri.
The event was aimed to promote the rich cultural heritage of the Peer Panjal region and to encourage the youth to take pride in their local traditions.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Secretary JKAACL, Bharat Singh. The Chief Guest was Member of District Development Council, Rajinder Kumar Sharma, while Additional Deputy Commissioner, Vinod Kumar Banal, presided over the event.
Artists from Sunderbani, Kalakote and Nowshera showcased their talent at the event, enthralling the audience with their soulful performances. The main objective of the event was not only to promote folk music and dance, but also to inspire the youth towards progress and development.
The proceedings of the event were conducted by Joginder Paul Sharma, while Dr. Alamdar Adam (SOCA) Rajouri delivered the vote of thanks to the general public, artists and dignitaries present.
