The Jammu and Kashmir Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (JKIMPARD) successfully concluded its two-month Secretariat Assistants Training Course (SATC) at its Srinagar campus. The programme was designed to strengthen the skills of Senior and Junior Assistants deputed from various government departments.
Director General JKIMPARD, Dr. Syed Abid Rashid, presided over the valedictory session and highlighted the importance of continuous training for government employees. He emphasized that capacity building initiatives are essential to improve efficiency, accountability, and service delivery across the administration.
Senior faculty members briefed participants on modules covering office management, noting and drafting, record keeping, and the use of digital tools. The curriculum also included sessions on the J&K Manual of Secretariat Procedures, Civil Services Regulations, General Financial Rules, Budget Manual, Conduct Rules, and ethics in administration.
Certificates were distributed to the trainees, with officials reaffirming JKIMPARD’s commitment to regular training programmes aimed at professional development. The institute noted that the SATC has equipped staff with practical skills to enhance governance and streamline administrative processes.
The conclusion of the SATC reflects JKIMPARD’s ongoing efforts to build institutional capacity and strengthen the administrative framework in Jammu and Kashmir.
