JKSTD Holds Orientation Workshop on GST Prime Analytics Tool & e-Way Portal

JAMMU: The Jammu & Kashmir State Taxes Department (JKSTD) today organized a comprehensive one-day orientation workshop on the GST Prime Analytics Tool and e-Way Portal for its officers at the Excise and Taxation Complex, Jammu.

The workshop featured P. V. Bhat, Scientific Director, e-Way Bill and GST Prime Portal, who delivered an in-depth session on the advanced functionalities and practical applications of the platforms. He elaborated on various analytical and compliance tools aimed at enhancing data-driven decision-making, improving efficiency, and streamlining tax administration processes.

Bhat also addressed technical and procedural queries from participants, providing detailed clarifications to facilitate better understanding and implementation.

The event was presided over by P. K. Bhat, Commissioner, State Taxes Department, who appreciated the expert’s contribution and lauded the officers for their active participation.

In her welcome address, Namrita Dogra, Additional Commissioner, State Taxes (Jammu), underlined the growing importance of digital innovation in modern tax governance and reiterated the department’s commitment to continuous capacity building.

Deputy Commissioners of the Enforcement Wing, Assistant Commissioners, and State Taxes Officers (STOs) from both divisions, including those from outstation locations, participated in the workshop through virtual mode, ensuring extensive outreach and inclusivity.

The workshop represents a major stride in strengthening GST compliance and enforcement by equipping officers with advanced digital tools and analytical capabilities.
