Surrey: Comedian Kapil Sharma’s café in Canada has reportedly come under attack once again, marking the third shooting incident at the establishment since July.
According to City News Vancouver, the Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating after shots were fired at Kap’s Café, located at 85 Avenue and 120 Street, around 3:45 a.m. on Thursday.
A man identified as Kulvir Sidhu, allegedly linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s network, has claimed responsibility for the attack in a viral social media post.
“Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh. Today’s firing at Kap’s Café, Surrey, was carried out by me, Kulvir Sidhu, and Goldy Dhillon. We have no issue with the public. Those who cheat or owe us will be warned. Bollywood personalities who speak against our religion should also beware — bullets can come from anywhere,” the post stated.
Police confirmed that staff members were inside the café at the time, but no injuries were reported.
Kapil Sharma and his team have not yet commented on the incident.
The café was first targeted on July 10, followed by another attack on August 8, before this latest shooting.
