Kareena, Saif add a ‘gaming’ twist to Diwali celebrations with sons Taimur and Jeh
Mumbai: After hosting a grand pre-Diwali bash for their family, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan kept their Diwali day celebrations intimate and fun-filled with their sons, Taimur and Jeh.
The star couple added a playful, gaming touch to the festival this year. On Tuesday, Kareena took to Instagram to share glimpses of their celebrations at a kids’ club, offering fans a peek into their joyful family time.
“This Diwali was in the kids club! Cause never lose the child in you, my friends. Love and light everyone… stay blessed,” Kareena captioned her post.
The photos included a selfie of Kareena from the playroom, candid shots of Taimur and Jeh engrossed in games, and a picture of Saif scanning the room for board games.
On the work front, Kareena is gearing up for her next project, Daayra, directed by Meghna Gulzar and co-starring Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Earlier this year, the team officially announced the film after a brief meeting. Expressing her excitement, Kareena wrote, “I’ve always said I’m a director’s actor, and this time I can’t wait to work with one of the finest directors, Meghna Gulzar, alongside the magnificent Prithviraj. To my dream team, Daayra, let’s do this!”
In a statement, Kareena added, “As I celebrate 25 incredible years in Hindi cinema, I’m thrilled to announce Daayra. Working with Meghna, whose films like Talvar and Raazi I deeply admire, is a dream come true. Collaborating with Prithviraj and being part of a thought-provoking story makes this journey even more special.”
Director Meghna Gulzar described Daayra as “a story that compels reflection on the society we live in and the institutions that shape it.”
