Mumbai: Bollywood star Katrina Kaif penned a heartfelt birthday note for filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, whom she affectionately calls “Zo Zo.”
Taking to Instagram, Katrina shared a picture of Zoya and wrote, “Happiest birthday Zo Zo to our secret angel… trailblazer and dynamo. Wishing you only the bestest things this year.”
Katrina and Zoya previously collaborated on the 2011 hit Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, which remains one of Bollywood’s most beloved films. The movie, starring Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, and Kalki Koechlin, follows three friends—Arjun (Hrithik), Imran (Farhan), and Kabir (Abhay)—on a life-changing road trip across Spain.
Celebrated for its stunning visuals and exhilarating adventures like skydiving, bull running, and scuba diving, the film continues to be a fan favorite.
Zoya Akhtar, daughter of veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar and screenwriter Honey Irani, is also known for directing acclaimed films such as Luck By Chance, Dil Dhadakne Do, Gully Boy, and The Archies.
