Mumbai: Bollywood star Suniel Shetty celebrated his 64th birthday on Monday, receiving warm wishes from family, friends, colleagues, and fans alike.
Among the greetings was a special shout-out from his son-in-law, cricketer KL Rahul. Sharing a photo on his Instagram Story featuring himself with Suniel and Ahan Shetty during their London vacation, KL Rahul wrote, “Happy happy birthday Ajja. Keep inspiring us with everything you do. And please rest more.”
Suniel’s children, Ahan and Athiya, also expressed their love and gratitude on social media. Ahan posted, “Happy birthday papa… thank you for your constant and steady support, your quiet wisdom, and always being there without needing to be asked. I love you @suniel.shetty.”
Athiya shared heartfelt birthday messages on her Instagram Stories, along with a photo of Suniel with her daughter, Evaarah. She wrote, “Happy birthday to the best father and now the best Ajja. We love you sooo much! Thank you for all that you are.”
Recently, Suniel Shetty and his family were in London to watch the India vs England match at The Oval. Both Suniel and Ahan shared moments from the game, celebrating India’s historic victory. Meanwhile, KL Rahul delivered an outstanding performance, finishing as the third-highest run-scorer of the series.
With a career spanning over three decades, Suniel Shetty has been one of the prominent stars of the 1990s and 2000s Bollywood scene.
On the professional front, Suniel was recently seen in Amazon MXPlayer’s ‘Hunter Season 2,’ which also stars Jackie Shroff, Anusha Dandekar, and Barkha Bisht. He is also set to reprise his iconic role as ‘Shyam’ in the upcoming film Hera Pheri 3.
