Police Post Khawas has arrested an absconder who had been evading law enforcement for the last ten years. The accused, Mohd. Altaf, son of Ghulam Mohd., resident of Gundha Khawas, was wanted in FIR No. 72/2015, registered under sections 324, 452, 336, 323, and 147 of the RPC at Police Station Budhal, Rajouri.
After he went into hiding in 2015 to escape arrest, a warrant under Section 512 Cr.PC was issued by the Hon’ble Court, Budhal. Acting on sustained efforts and credible information, the police team traced his whereabouts and successfully apprehended him.
