Ahmedabad: Opener KL Rahul scored a commanding century as India reached 218 for three at lunch on the second day of the opening Test against the West Indies here on Friday.
Rahul was unbeaten on 100, with Dhruv Jurel supporting him on 14, as India held a 56-run lead at the break.
India began the day at 121 for two but lost skipper Shubman Gill (50) in the opening session.
The hosts had bowled out the West Indies for 162 on day one.
