Kulgam: In a major operation to dismantle cross-border terror networks, Kulgam Police launched a sweeping crackdown on Jammu and Kashmir nationals operating from Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (JKNOP). Multiple Cordon and Search Operations (CASOs) were conducted across the district, leading to the booking of several relatives and associates involved in funding and facilitating terror activities.
According to a police spokesperson, the operation was based on specific intelligence inputs targeting individuals aiding terror elements across the border through financial assistance, logistics, and propaganda.
During the raids, several individuals were booked under relevant legal provisions for their continued involvement in anti-national activities. Police also seized digital devices and other incriminating materials from their possession.
Reaffirming its commitment to maintaining peace and security, Kulgam Police said that operations against terror support networks will continue until their complete dismantling.
