Leh: Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta on Saturday expressed deep sorrow over the explosion inside a Srinagar police station that left eight people dead and 27 injured.
“Deeply anguished by the tragic explosion at Nowgam Police Station in Srinagar. My heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, and prayers for the swift recovery of the injured,” Gupta posted on X.
The accidental blast occurred late Friday night at the Nowgam police station as officials were extracting samples from a large cache of explosives seized in the “white-collar terror module” case.
