Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold Launch and Specs Leak

The Google Pixel 10 series is set to launch this week, both globally and in India, and now more details about the Pixel 10 Pro Fold have surfaced. This foldable model is expected to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Vivo X Fold 5.

Early renders of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold suggest that Google is not planning major design changes, including the camera layout. However, recent leaks hint at a key improvement: the foldable could be significantly more durable than its predecessors.

Pixel 10 Pro Fold Specs and Features

The latest leaks indicate that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold may feature an IP68 rating, making it the first Google foldable with this level of water and dust resistance. That said, it may not be a lightweight device, as it is expected to weigh around 258 grams—over 40 grams heavier than the latest Samsung and Vivo foldables.

Storage is another area of upgrade, with the foldable reportedly moving from UFS 3.1 to UFS 4.0 technology. Fans hope this improvement will extend to all Pixel 10 models, not just the foldable.

Launch Timeline and Availability

While official Pixel 10 Pro Fold footage from Google is eagerly anticipated, its availability may be delayed. Reports suggest that the foldable, along with the new Pixel Watch, could hit the market around October—over a month after the official launch. This timing might even put them behind Apple’s iPhone 17 series, expected to be unveiled in September.

Other expected releases, including the Pixel Buds 2a and Watch 4, may also see a similar October rollout.
