Kishtwar: The Indian Army organised a comprehensive Road Safety Awareness Drive at village Chingam of Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on 03 May 2025.
This initiative was part of on-going efforts by the Indian Army to promote safety and security within communities. The lecture aimed on educating and empowering local residents of village Chingam on best practices for road safety. The lecture covered a range of topics including traffic rules and regulations, the importance of wearing helmets and seat belts, the hazards of drunk driving and the significance of pedestrian safety.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of 40 people from village Chingarm and nearby areas, who actively engaged in informative session. The Road Safety Awareness Drive at village Chingam exemplifies the Indian Army’s commitment to fostering a safer and more secure environment for all. By empowering communities with knowledge and awareness, such initiatives contribute significantly to reducing road accidents and saving lives.
