Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday ordered the dismissal of two government employees for their alleged links with terrorist organisations, officials said.
The dismissed employees have been identified as Ghulam Hussain and Majid Iqbal Dar, both serving as teachers in the Education Department, they added.
According to officials, the Lieutenant Governor took the decision after reviewing the available evidence and circumstances of the cases, concluding that their activities justified immediate termination from service.
In recent years, several government employees in Jammu and Kashmir have been dismissed without formal inquiry over similar allegations of involvement in anti-national activities.
