LG Felicitates Langar Organisations for Selfless Service During Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2025
KATRA: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha yesterday felicitated Langar organisations for their invaluable contribution during the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2025. The ceremony was held at the Spiritual Growth Centre, Katra.
Expressing his heartfelt appreciation, the Lieutenant Governor lauded the organisations for their selfless service to the devotees of Baba Amarnath. “Today’s felicitation carries a message that nothing can surpass the spirit of India. The successful conduct of this year’s holy pilgrimage, driven by the unwavering determination of all stakeholders, demonstrates that we are second to none in the world. It is also a testament to our steadfast commitment to selfless service and a symbol of a resurgent India,” he said.








Shri Sinha also commended the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board, administrative officials, Police and security personnel, service providers, NGOs, volunteers, health professionals, and all stakeholders for their tireless efforts throughout the Yatra. “Daily real-time feedback from Yatris was monitored through the Rapid Assessment System, and 95% of pilgrims rated the services as ‘Very Good’. Emotional visuals showing our police and security personnel carrying pilgrims in need, treating them like family members, are a reflection of true dedication,” he added.
Highlighting the role of voluntary Langar organisations, the Lieutenant Governor said they have consistently contributed to the success of the pilgrimage with devotion and dedication. He urged all stakeholders to continue ensuring a safe and secure environment for the devotees.
Reiterating the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board’s commitment to enhancing facilities, he announced that efforts are underway for devotees to travel via ropeway from Baltal to the holy cave in the near future. This year, 122 Langars provided free-of-cost services to pilgrims across the Yatra route.
