Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday virtually inaugurated a Bailey Bridge on the Ramban-Gool road, calling it a lifeline for nearly 1.5 lakh residents of Ramban, Sangaldan, and Gool.
In a post on X, LG Sinha said the bridge will enhance connectivity, improve quality of life, and offer relief to people affected by recent natural disasters that damaged infrastructure, disrupted the economy, and blocked this crucial route. He lauded the Army engineers for their dedicated work under challenging conditions. “This Bailey Bridge stands as a testament to the skill, dedication, and service of the Indian Army. Restored connectivity brings renewed hope to the entire region,” he added.
