Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday visited JLNM Hospital Rainawari, where he distributed fruits among patients as part of Sewa Pakhwada to mark the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Extending his greetings to the Prime Minister, the Lt Governor said, “Selfless service strengthens community bonds and nurtures a sense of shared purpose. From September 17 to October 2, various Sewa Parv campaigns are dedicated to women empowerment and healthcare.”
Highlighting the Prime Minister’s contribution, Sinha noted that the past 11 years have been a milestone in India’s transformation. “Under his visionary leadership, India has emerged as the world’s fourth-largest economy. The benefits of economic growth have reached the poor and marginalised, with 25 crore people lifted out of poverty. India’s global stature has risen remarkably,” he said, while praying for Modi’s long and healthy life.
