Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday reaffirmed that his administration is committed to ensuring justice for all victims of Pakistan-backed terrorism in the Union Territory, adding that cases will be registered in every such incident.
“We launched a campaign three to four months ago, and we are determined to ensure that every victim of terrorism receives justice,” Sinha told reporters after visiting Dardpora village in Kupwara district.
He said that over 250 people who had suffered due to terrorism have been provided government jobs in Jammu and Kashmir. “The remaining cases are being processed, and they will also receive jobs after the elections,” he added.
Later, in a post on X, Sinha said the administration would extend all possible support to the families of terror victims to help them rebuild their lives.
“Today, I interacted with families of terror victims at Dardpora and addressed the next of kin at GDC Kupwara. I assured them that their decades-long trauma and suffering are coming to an end. We will ensure full support so they can reclaim their lives,” he wrote.
He further noted that families of civilians killed by Pakistan-backed terrorists had long faced systemic neglect and denial of rights. “They were deprived of access to resources and opportunities. All such barriers have now been removed, and we are ensuring justice and dignity for every family affected by terrorism,” Sinha said.
