Poonch: Nearly 40 sheep and goats were killed after lightning struck the Sangar Dhoke area near Soliyan in Poonch, officials said.
The incident occurred late Tuesday night, inflicting heavy losses on Khalid Hussain, a resident of Hadi Bari Baik from the Bakarwal community. Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident, and an assessment of the damage is underway.
