RAMBAN: A Mega Medical Camp was organized today in the remote village Sarachi in Block Ukheral by the Block Medical Officer along with doctors and paramedical staff from PHC Khari.
The medical camp provided essential health services to 260 patients. The services offered at the camp included free consultations, diagnostic tests and medicine. In addition, the medical team conducted TB screening (sputum sampling) and screening for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD), besides administering immunization doses to beneficiary children.
Public awareness and education were also key components of the camp. Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materialON NCDs, health schemes, and drug de-addiction was distributed among the locals. Additionally, Golden Cards were distributed among the beneficiaries to facilitate access to health services. The health camp was held under the directions of District Development Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary and the guidance of Chief Medical Officer Dr Kamal Je Zadu.
