Poonch: As part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts following recent cross-border firing, the Indian Army provided essential medical assistance to displaced civilians in Surankote and surrounding areas of Poonch district. A dedicated Mobile Medical Team, including Indian Army doctors and medical staff, delivered doorstep healthcare-offering diagnosis, treatment, and free medicines, with special attention to the elderly, women, and children.

This timely initiative ensured that immediate health concerns, including chronic conditions and stress-related ailments, were addressed despite displacement.
