Police Post Hari Market (Police Station City) today arrested an accused, Mohd Aslam S/o Mohd Hussain, R/o Mistry Mohalla, Narwal, in connection with a snatching case registered under FIR No. 13/2024 U/S 382 IPC at Police Station City, Jammu. He was apprehended from the Narwal area.
During sustained questioning, the accused admitted his involvement in the snatching incident. On his disclosure, the stolen mobile phone was recovered by the police.
The arrest was made by a team from Police Post Hari Market, led by SI G. C. Thappa and SHO City, Ms. Shakti Devi, under the supervision of SP City North and SDPO City North.
Further investigation in the case is underway.
