Hyderabad: Actor Nani shared his excitement ahead of the release of two highly anticipated films, Coolie and War 2, starring Rajinikanth and Jr NTR-Hrithik Roshan, respectively.
Taking to his X handle, the Hit actor expressed his eagerness to see Nagarjuna in a negative role for the first time in Coolie, which hits theatres today. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie features Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna in lead roles, with Bollywood star Aamir Khan in a prominent part.
The film will clash at the box office with Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan’s War 2, marking one of the biggest cinematic face-offs in recent years. Nani praised Rajinikanth as the “GOAT (Greatest of All Time)” and urged fans to celebrate both films.
“Tomorrow I am sure Taarak will ace it along with Hrithik sir like he always does. Rajini sir is going to show the world why he is THE GOAT. But what excites me most is watching Nagarjuna sir in a negative role. It’s going to be a treat for movie lovers. It’s not about who wins—it’s about cinema winning. Let’s celebrate both films,” Nani wrote.
War 2, the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War, sees Hrithik Roshan reprising his role as he clashes with Jr NTR. The film, directed by Ayan Mukerji, follows two Indian soldiers whose opposing views on patriotism put them at odds. The trailer hints at high-octane action, including stunts on a moving train and a dramatic showdown in an ice cave, promising a blockbuster Bollywood action thriller.
Meanwhile, Coolie is expected to be a major box office hit, thanks to its star-studded cast led by Rajinikanth. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
