SRINAGAR: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan, the Cultural Unit Srinagar, under the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR), conducted a new series of awareness programmes on Wednesday in collaboration with several government and private schools across Srinagar.
The day’s events were successfully held at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Soura, Government Boys Secondary School Harwan, Government Boys High School Mulphaq, Government Secondary School Barjee, and private institutions including Greenland Foundation School Hawal and Mars School Eidgah Srinagar.
The programmes included cultural performances, interactive sessions, and motivational talks, all aimed at highlighting the dangers of drug abuse and encouraging youth to take collective responsibility in combating this growing challenge.
Principals and heads of the participating schools praised the initiative, emphasizing its importance in fostering responsible and aware citizens. They commended the Cultural Unit Srinagar for effectively advancing the campaign.
The initiative reinforced the commitment to empower young minds and reiterated the vision of a drug-free, progressive Jammu & Kashmir.
