SRINAGAR: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah paid rich tributes to veteran journalist Khwaja Sanaullah Bhat on his death anniversary. Recalling his immense contribution to journalism in Jammu and Kashmir, the leaders described him as a pioneer who upheld the values of truth and integrity in reporting.

Dr Farooq Abdullah said that Khwaja Sanaullah Bhat’s fearless and principled journalism continues to inspire generations of media professionals in the region. He noted that Bhat’s commitment to public service through honest reporting remains unmatched.

Omar Abdullah, while offering his tributes, highlighted Bhat’s role in shaping the media landscape of Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasised that the late journalist’s dedication to ethical standards and his courage in speaking truth to power have left a lasting legacy.
