Nothing Phone 3 Gets Rs 35,000 Discount In India: Should You Buy It?

The Nothing Phone 3 made its India debut in July with a steep price tag of Rs 79,999, raising eyebrows as it went head-to-head with heavyweights like the iPhone 16, Galaxy S25, and Google Pixel 10. Positioned as the company’s most ambitious device yet, the Phone 3 was seen as a bold bet in the flagship space.

Now, in a surprising twist, the device is listed online for nearly half its launch price. On Amazon, the 12GB + 256GB White model is priced at Rs 44,461, which is more than Rs 35,000 cheaper than the official retail price. Unlike earlier discounts through bank offers or exchanges, this markdown is a direct price cut.

But here’s the catch—Nothing officially sells its phones in India only via Flipkart, which still lists the Phone 3 at its original Rs 79,999. Amazon, being a marketplace, allows third-party sellers to list at any price, making deals like these fall into the “too good to be true” category. Experts caution buyers against purchasing at this price, even if it looks tempting.

On the specs front, the Phone 3 packs a 6.7-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It features a triple 50MP camera setup (wide with OIS, periscope telephoto, and ultra-wide), along with a 5,500mAh battery supporting 65W fast charging and wireless charging. As with past models, there’s no charger in the box.

So, while the Phone 3 certainly has flagship-grade hardware, the deep discount online may not be as trustworthy as it seems.
