Big Phone Launches In July 2025
Nothing Phone 3
The month will start with the Nothing Phone 3 launch on July 1 in London. The company will also bring its first over-the-ear headphones, but the Phone 3 will be in prime focus, especially for its flagship claims. The Phone 3 display is being tipped to be flat like most of the phones launched in 2025. It is powered by the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.
The model is tipped to get a 6.7-inch OLED LTPO display with 1.5K resolution. Leaks also say the Phone 3 will offer a triple camera system that includes a trio of 50MP wide, 3x periscope telephoto (confirmed on Thursday) and an ultra-wide lens. Phone 3 is expected to pack a 5,150mAh battery with support for 65W charging speed, better than the Phone 2. We are eager to see if the claimed EUR 800 price tag can get any lower when the Phone 3 launches in India.
OnePlus Nord 5 Series
The OnePlus Nord 5 series is launching early next month and the company plans to bring not one or two but five new products at the July 8 event. OnePlus Nord 5 and the Nord CE 5 have been teased over the last few weeks and we will also see the new OnePlus Buds 4 as well as the OnePlus Pad version. For the Indian market, OnePlus will limit itself to the Nord 5 series as well as the Buds 4. OnePlus Nord 5 is going to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
The new model is also going to come with a large vapour cooling tech and support for 144 FPS on BGMI and COD Mobile games. Going by the launch teaser, the Nord 5 and CE 5 should get a dual rear camera system and hopefully a large-sized battery similar to the recently launched OnePlus 13s model.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 And Flip 7
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is confirmed for July 9 and this will happen in New York. The new launch event comes with the tagline, “The Ultra Experience is Ready to Unfold,” which once again confirms the products that will be part of the launch event. The silhouette of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in the new teaser leaves little to imagination. The Fold 7 model does look thinner than the previous Fold versions that Samsung has launched till date.
The company is also quick to highlight the Galaxy AI features that will be part of the device and with the new design gives you better ways to make use of the smart replies features for your emails on-the-go. The device will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and hopefully the cameras are better than before, as well as the battery size. The foldable event will also have the Galaxy Watch 8 series unveiled and probably the XR headset.
Tecno Pova 7
Tecno has announced the launch date for the Pova 7 series in India. The new Pova lineup will be coming a few days before the OnePlus and Samsung events. The Pova 7 launch in India is on July 4 at 12PM. The new Pova 7 is teased to feature a triple camera setup identical to the iPhone 16 Pro model. We expect to see around three models in the Pova 7 series and one of them could be an Ultra that was recently announced globally.
Vivo X Fold 5 And X200 FE
Vivo X Fold 5 and the X200 FE models could be launched in India sometime in July. The company has started teasing the products which suggests the official date is imminent. The X Fold 5 builds on the promising X Fold 3 Pro version and looks to change the dynamics of a foldable that can give a tough fight to the best in the business.
Vivo is using last year’s Snapdragon 8 chipset but upgrades in almost every other aspect. The X200 FE is going to be a compact phone featuring Zeiss Optics lenses and expected to compete with the recently launched OnePlus 13s in the market.
The X200 FE is likely to sport a 6.31-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate screen. The X200 FE could be powered by the Dimensity 9300+ chipset.
