Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi stated that Operation Sindoor, carried out recently, was merely an 88-hour demonstration of India’s operational capabilities and not the full extent of its potential. Speaking on the matter, he warned Pakistan to take the display seriously and not underestimate India’s preparedness and resolve.

General Dwivedi emphasised that the operation highlighted the Indian Army’s swift response, strategic planning, and operational efficiency. While Op Sindoor lasted only a short period, it showcased the readiness and coordination of the armed forces along the borders, sending a clear message about India’s defensive and offensive capabilities.

The COAS urged caution and stressed that any misadventure would be met with a strong and decisive response. Officials reiterated that the operation was a demonstration of strength, aimed at maintaining peace through deterrence, while reinforcing India’s commitment to safeguarding its national security interests.
