OYO Parent PRISM Reshuffles Leadership; Elevates Ankit Tandon and Varun Jain
NEW DELHI: Travel-tech firm OYO’s parent company, PRISM, on Friday announced a major leadership reshuffle, elevating Ankit Tandon as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of PRISM and CEO for Europe, and appointing Varun Jain as COO for Asia.
Tandon, currently CEO of OYO Vacation Homes, will now oversee PRISM’s global business operations and performance across brands such as Belvilla, DanCenter, Sunday Hotels, and others. His expanded role includes leading PRISM’s presence in Europe, the UK, and the US—home to G6 Hospitality, the parent company of Motel 6 and Studio 6—while continuing to head the Vacation Homes division, which recently added CheckMyGuest (France) and MadeComfy (Australia) to its portfolio.
In his new role, Puneet Yadav, UK Country Head, will report to Tandon, while Sonal Sinha, CEO of G6 Hospitality, will collaborate closely with both Tandon and OYO Founder & Group CEO Ritesh Agarwal.
Varun Jain, currently COO–India, will now oversee operations across India and SEAME (Southeast Asia and the Middle East), along with PRISM’s listings platform Traum Ferienwohnungen in Germany. Within India, the Innov8 and Weddingz businesses will report to Jain, supported by Pankhuri Sakhuja (Innov8 and Traum) and Nitin Gupta (SEAME).
Shreerang Godbole will continue as Chief Service Officer, driving customer experience and operations across PRISM’s global businesses. Following the rejig, he will also lead DanCenter’s operations, manage the integration and growth of MadeComfy in Australia, and work with Tandon on PRISM’s US PropCo operations.
Additionally, Shirish Damani has been appointed COO, Europe Homes & Hotels, PRISM, where he will work alongside Tandon to drive supply, revenue, and margin growth across brands such as Belvilla, DanCenter, CheckMyGuest, Studio Prestige, and HelpMyGuest, while continuing to lead global M&A initiatives.
Meanwhile, Gautam Swaroop, who led PRISM International (US, UK, LatAm, Workspaces) and Traum Ferienwohnungen for the past five years, is moving on to pursue new technology-led ventures.
“Gautam will continue to advise me and the PRISM leadership team. I’m excited to see Ankit, Varun, Shreerang, and Shirish take on expanded roles to drive global growth with sharper execution and a stronger customer focus,” said Ritesh Agarwal.
