JAMMU: Border Security Force (BSF) troops apprehended a Pakistani intruder along the International Border in the R S Pura sector, officials said on Monday.
The intruder, identified as Siraj Khan from Sargodha in Pakistan’s Punjab province, was spotted near the Octroi outpost around 9:20 pm on Sunday.
After being challenged, BSF personnel fired a few warning shots before arresting him close to the border fence. Officials said some Pakistani currency notes were recovered from his possession.
