Paris [France]: Bollywood icon Aishwarya Rai mesmerized the audience at Paris Fashion Week 2025, walking the ramp during the public show titled “Liberty. Equality. Sisterhood. Because You’re Worth It”, organized by French cosmetics giant L’Oreal Paris on Monday.
The actress left spectators spellbound in a stunning black ensemble adorned with intricate diamond embellishments, designed by renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra.
The outfit’s standout features included 10-inch diamond-embroidered cuffs on the sleeves and the back of the coat. The structured tailoring, button-down front, and subtle sheen of the fabric gave the ensemble a regal and refined appeal.
Aishwarya accessorized with a large diamond-and-emerald brooch and completed her look with her signature red lipstick, adding a bold contrast to the sophisticated attire. She charmed fans on the runway with flying kisses and a graceful namaste pose.
In a press statement, Aishwarya reflected on her enduring association with L’Oreal, saying, “Walking the runway at Paris Fashion Week is always a powerful reminder of the beauty of individuality and expression. Being part of the L’Oreal Paris family for over two decades has been more than a collaboration—it’s been a journey of empowerment. ‘Because You’re Worth It’ is not just a tagline; it celebrates self-worth and continues to inspire women everywhere. Tonight, we honour that legacy, reaffirming that every woman’s strength, story, and spirit deserve to be seen and celebrated.”
Ahead of her ramp walk, a behind-the-scenes photo with Indian-origin British actress Simone Ashley, known for Bridgerton, went viral on social media. Simone shared a selfie on Instagram showing the two dressed elegantly in black, posing together in their vanity space as they prepared for the event.
On the professional front, Aishwarya was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2 and has yet to announce her next project. Earlier this year, she made a notable appearance at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, wearing a custom Gaurav Gupta Couture gown that honored her Indian roots. The body-fitted gown featured hand embroidery in silver, gold, charcoal, and black, paired with a Banarasi brocade cape handwoven in Varanasi.
