Srinagar, Nov 25: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Zuhaib Yousuf Mir has strongly criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for pursuing what he termed a ‘divisive agenda’ and accused the National Conference (NC) of maintaining silence over discriminatory demands affecting the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a gathering, Mir said that the BJP’s policies are creating divisions in society and undermining the principles of inclusivity and equality. He alleged that the party is attempting to marginalise communities and weaken the democratic fabric of the region.
Mir also expressed disappointment over the National Conference’s silence, stating that the party has failed to raise its voice against discriminatory measures. He argued that political leadership must act responsibly and safeguard the rights of all sections of society.
The PDP leader reiterated that his party remains committed to protecting the interests of the people and ensuring justice and fairness. He urged citizens to remain vigilant and resist any attempts to divide society along communal or regional lines.
