SRINAGAR: A delegation from the Pashmeena Entrepreneurs Makers and Artisans (PEMA) Foundation, led by President Tariq Dar, met with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today.
During the meeting, the delegation briefed the Lieutenant Governor on the foundation’s initiatives focused on cultural preservation, the welfare of artisans and craftspeople, and the promotion of Kashmir’s Geographical Indication (GI) certified products.
The discussion also covered the upcoming PEMA Foundation 2025 Artisan Award Ceremony, which aims to honor, incentivize, and uplift master craftspeople across Jammu and Kashmir.
