Srinagar Nov 17: Applicants under the Persons with Disabilities (PHC) category have appealed to Kashmir University to relax the eligibility criteria for various courses, stating that the current norms are preventing many deserving candidates from applying. They said that despite falling under a reserved category meant to support individuals with disabilities, the stringent requirements have left several aspirants uncertain about their chances of admission. The applicants urged the university administration to review the criteria with compassion and flexibility, ensuring that the PHC quota truly benefits those it is intended for. They added that a timely decision from the authorities would ease their anxiety and help them participate in the admission process without disadvantage.
