Piyush Goyal to attend FTII Traders Conclave in Srinagar

JAMMU,: Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Piyush Goyal will be the chief guest at the FTII Traders Conclave on July 6 at the SKICC, Srinagar. The conclave will be led by Dr. Sanjay Bansal, national president, Federation of Trade and Industry India (FTII) and Board Member, National Traders Welfare Board (NTWB), Ministry of Commerce & Industry.

This landmark event, organized under the theme “Vocal for Local,” aims to empower local industries, encourage indigenous entrepreneurship, and boost the economic potential of Jammu & Kashmir. The conclave will bring together over 300 leading traders, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders from Jammu, Kashmir, and 10 other states to explore opportunities for collaboration and growth.

Goyal participation underscores the Central Government’s unwavering commitment to strengthening the business ecosystem in Jammu & Kashmir and positioning the region as a vibrant contributor to India’s economic progress. In his capacity as Union Minister, Shri Piyush Goyal ji has consistently championed policies that promote ease of doing business, MSME development, and national competitiveness. His presence is expected to inspire confidence among local traders and investors.

A special highlight will be the address by Sunil Singhi, Chairman, NTWB, known for spearheading over 370 initiatives supporting trader welfare and national trade integration. Dr. Sanjay Bansal will share FTII’s vision for uniting business stakeholders under a single platform to advocate for policies that reflect regional aspirations.

Other distinguished dignitaries expected to attend include Ghulam Ali Khatana, Member of Parliament; Satish Sharma, Cabinet Minister and Vikramjeet Singh, Commissioner Secretary, Industries & Commerce, J&K Government.

The FTII Traders Conclave will feature discussions on industrial incentives, insurance challenges, policy reforms, and strategies to strengthen Jammu & Kashmir’s position in national and global markets. It will also recognize outstanding contributions to regional trade development.
