Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday credited Indian technology and the Make in India initiative for the success of Operation Sindoor, which, he said, brought Pakistan to its knees within hours.
Speaking at the foundation-laying ceremony of Bengaluru Metro’s Phase-3 project, Modi said the operation showcased a “new face of India” to the world, with the armed forces striking and destroying terror hubs deep inside Pakistan.
“For the first time, the world witnessed India’s capability to eliminate terror bases far inside enemy territory and achieve decisive results in just a few hours,” he said. “The success of Operation Sindoor rests on our technology and the strength of Make in India.”
He added that Bengaluru and its youth played a key role in the operation.
