Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated the Safran Aircraft Engine facility in Hyderabad, highlighting India as a trusted and reliable partner for global investors. The facility, a collaboration between the French aerospace giant and Indian partners, will focus on the manufacture, assembly, and testing of advanced aircraft engines.

Addressing the event, PM Modi emphasised India’s commitment to promoting high-quality manufacturing, technological innovation, and ease of doing business. He urged investors worldwide to explore opportunities in India, citing the country’s skilled workforce, robust infrastructure, and transparent regulatory framework.

The Hyderabad plant is expected to create significant employment opportunities and strengthen India-France industrial collaboration. Officials said the facility will also contribute to enhancing the aerospace supply chain and supporting the nation’s ambitions in civil and defence aviation sectors.

PM Modi noted that such investments underline India’s growing stature as a global manufacturing hub and reaffirmed the government’s dedication to supporting both domestic and international enterprises with policy stability and proactive facilitation.
