New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the BJP-led NDA government is committed to empowering the youth, noting that even India’s foreign policy is now being shaped with their interests at the forefront.

In a recorded address at the 17th Rozgar Mela, Modi highlighted that India — the world’s youngest nation — draws its greatest strength from its youth.
“With this belief and confidence, we are advancing in every sector. Our foreign policy, too, is designed with the aspirations of young Indians in mind. Diplomatic efforts and global partnerships increasingly focus on youth training and employment generation,” he said.

During the event, over 51,000 appointment letters for government jobs were distributed. Modi noted that more than 11 lakh recruitment letters have been issued across the country through Rozgar Melas so far.
“Empowering the youth remains a key priority of the BJP-led NDA government,” he emphasised.

Modi also pointed out that India has forged several investment partnerships with European nations, creating thousands of new job opportunities.
“We have signed multiple agreements with countries such as Brazil, Singapore, South Korea, and Canada to promote investment, support startups, and strengthen MSMEs. These collaborations will enhance exports and open up new avenues for growth and opportunity for our youth,” he said.

The prime minister further described the recent reduction in GST rates as a landmark reform whose impact extends beyond just boosting household savings.
“The next generation of GST reforms is expanding employment and growth opportunities across sectors,” Modi added.
